Throwback Thursday

This is one of my favourite family pictures from when I was younger.Although dad's not looking at the camera. I think this was my sister Rachel's 3rd or 4th birthday, So Im about 6/7 in this. (late 90's/early 2000's)

I found this photo recently and it made me laugh so much because I don't know what made me pose like that but whatever, I was young and judging from the photo, loved the camera. I remember wearing that top a lot as well.

Afternoon Tea/Lunch for Mother's Day

Hello everybody, As its mothers day today Mum, Nana, My sister Rachel and I went out for lunch in Lough Eske Castle yesterday. I had never been for Lunch out there before but I always heard good things about it. So I took some pictures of it and I'm sharing them with you guys because this place is so pretty.

It was a castle way back in the day but has now been renovated into a hotel on the outskirts of Town.

I don't know why I took a picture of this, It was way cooler in real life.

Overall we had a great day out there, it was perfect for Mothers Day and if you ever in Donegal Town be sure to come out there for a visit you won't be disappointed.

Spring Skin

Hello there, As it's now officially spring, I like to start preparing my skin for Summer as I will obviously not be wearing much make up. So I thought I would share with you some of the things that I use that really help my skin and hopefully yours too.

I have seen this product on nearly every beauty blog, so im sure you'll have seen it before, as I have sensitive skin I was a little apprehensive about using this and usually any cleansers leave my face a little red after but this hasn't. It is essentially like water.My skin has never felt so clean before.

I use both the Clean and Clear Morning burst Moisturiser and Facial Cleanser, that I use as somewhat of a scrub, I recommend this for the Spring/Summer as it leaves your skin with a radiant glow.

And for a Face Mask I use this Australian Tea Tree Mask, I love the smell of Tea Tree. I wouldn't recommend this if you don't because its quite strong. It really leaves your feeling soft and clear from the first use.

These are products that work with my skin, and as I said my skin is really sensitive so these product should be suitable for any skin type.

Vegan Maybe ???

Again not really a beauty related post, but im gonna use this as like a diary for the week and try to update about it as often as I can, so my friend Diana and I watched a documentary on Veganism and decided to try it for a week to see what its like and see will I continue it.

This isn't something I decided from watching the documentary as such, I have been thinking about it for a while, but didn't think it would be easy to do due to where I live and accessibility to Vegan products but its far easier than I originally thought, although it is early days.

As this is the first day and im new to this, I wanted to use this as a sort of way to document it and share my experience with Veganism if any of you were thinking of trying it. Also if you know any good recipes maybe you could leave a link or the recipes themselves below, I like all vegetables so im open to anything.

Style Crush Sunday | Camila Alves

Every Sunday Im going to tell you who Im loving at the moment, whether it's style/make up or hair.

Today its Camila Alves, Brazilian Model and wife of Matthew McConaughey, she really brings it, whether it's red carpet or casual, I think she's stunning. As well as being a mum of three (I know, with her body) she is also a designer.

I also have serious hair envy but lets not get to into that, I love that her casual style it's so laid back compared to her Red Carpet wardrobe, to me she really made an impact on the red carpets recently at movie premiere's and award shows.

She wears clothes so well,well I suppose she is a model, and always looks so unbelievably gorgeous.

I just love the whole vibe she gives off with her style,she has the same style I do and Im obsessed with her lately, I can't wait to see what she wears to the the Oscars, she will more than likely be featured in my 'I Have Red Carpet Fever - Part 2' as she was heavily in the first one.

Dallas Buyers Club Review

Both Posters for the Movie

I know this is a beauty blog and I don't write about things like this, but I recently went to see a movie that came out called Dallas Buyers Club. Now this wouldn't be the type of movie I would go to see, truthfully I only went to see it because Jared Leto was in it, but Im so glad I did. This movie is one of the best I've seen. I've already read reviews from people saying the same.


Its a true story set in 1985 Texas were AZT trials are taking place which was the drug used as a form of treatment for AIDS.

Matthew as Ron Woodroof

It stars Matthew McConaughey as Ron Woodroof, a guy who struggles to come to terms with the fact he has AIDS.

Jared as Rayon

Jared Leto as Rayon, a transgender who also has AIDS. The two form an unlikely friendship to try and beat the disease.

Jennifer as Eve

Jennifer Garner stars as Eve who is originally helping Ron and Rayon in the hospital.


After being told he has thirty days to live Ron sets out to try and find better drugs that will keep him alive, so he goes to Mexico and finds a drug that they're using down there but its not FDA approved, so he sets up the Dallas Buyers Club, a club that you pay membership to and you get all the drugs you need for free, that way its not illegal. Rayon helps him out in this club, there have there fair share of ups and downs with the FDA confiscating the drugs twice so they go elsewhere.
Not going to lie, I did cry at the end of this movie.

Ron and Rayon

Once you get over the initial shock of seeing the weight loss in both Jared and Matthew and focus on whats happening you'll see how inspirational this movie is, it makes you want to know more and more about the characters and their lives.


This movie is heartwarming yet sad, its a perfect balance of having light hearted humour but still having a serious edge to it, if you see one movie this year let it be this, this is acting at its finest.
Its no wonder why they're winning so many awards for there parts.

Primark S/S 14 -My Favourites

While flicking through LOOK Magazine, I seen they had some of Primark/Penny's S/S 2014 Collection.I knew I needed some new things for my wardrobe, So I went online and found some of my favourites, these items will defiantly be in my wardrobe ASAP.

First off, I found this Green Blouse with sheer flower detailing which I really like, I absolutely love this colour and thought it would look great for Spring.

To compliment that, I thought this White Mini Satchel would go with anything in the Spring and then into Summer. 

How cute is this Yellow Shift Dress, I can totally see this with this Statement Necklace when the weather gets a little nicer.

As I missed out on Zara's skort when it was out I will be purchasing this replica , that is if this one doesn't go either.

If you know me, you know im a bit obsessed with Monochrome, I basically live in it and I adore this Monochrome Grid Blouse , not really for spring only, for me this is an all year rounder.

I've been really liking Perspex clutches and was about to buy one online when I found this one, This Perspex Handbag is perfect for summer nights out to bring a pop of colour to an outfit, although i would like to point out you will need a little pouch inside this for money, cards etc as it is see through.

Again this is something for all year round , This Denim Sleeveless Shirt would look great open with shorts or tucked into a skater skirt, and paired with this Statement Necklace .
