Style Crush Sunday | Danielle Bernstein

If you want to learn anything about me, know that Danielle Bernstein is my Spirit Animal, I go by a daily motto 'WWDD?' -What Would Danielle Do?

I especially use this while shopping and try to buy stuff that she would wear or close to what she has worn in her blog posts.
Before I started blogging she was the first blogger I looked up to and thought that would be so much fun to do.

Her style is something I try to adapt to my personal style although I don't have the weather here in Ireland.

If you don't know who Danielle is, She is the Founder and Blogger behind WeWoreWhat and a student of F.I.T. She has also appeared on Project Runway - All Stars as a guest judge and just announced a Collab with Topshop that I'm super excited about.

I don't think she has ever worn an outfit that I haven't liked, her style is amazingly simple but like she just stepped off a runway at the same time. She takes pieces of clothing that are hard to wear and makes them look effortless.

She has defiantly given me confidence to wear the clothes that I want to wear when I want to wear them, and that you certainly don't need an event to express yourself -  Style Wise anyway.

I use her (among others) as a daily inspiration and where she is in life is something I want to achieve, and the fact that shes friends with Eleanor Calder makes her Perfect in my eyes, as they have very similar styles.

What are your Thoughts of Ms. Bernstein ? Who are your favourite Fashion Bloggers?

OOTD | Blanc & Noir

Coat : Savida
Shirt : Penny's
Shoes : Penny's
Jeans : Quiz

Yay for more Ootd's this year!!

I am a major lover of Monochrome. My whole wardrobe is basically black and white,(well mostly black) its just so pretty and works with everything.

I think this is one of my favourite outfits.
I am in love with this shirt its one piece that looks like two (isn't that amazing) so you basically look like you put a lot of effort in and you really haven't. (lol)

Also these shoes are so comfy, I brought them on Holidays and wore them nearly everyday. Obsessed with pointed toe shoes.

Be sure to follow me on Instagram :Sarahloukane for daily updates of Ootd's and other things :)

Bog Standard

I was at a fashion show last year in which they gave away gift bags to everyone that attended, in the gift bags was a sample of some Bog Standard Products, at the time I had never heard of the company.

After trying the samples for a while and I fell in love, the sample I got was 'Irish Field' as it was called at the time, its now called 'Field', it smells like a field after its rained and I love everything about it.

I have since repurchased the candle maybe 3-4 times, while buying the candle again I came across Soap and an Air Freshener, which I put in my wardrobe to make my clothes smell nice.

Isn't the new packaging just beautiful I almost didn't want to open it.
Im all for supporting Irish businesses as well so this is perfect, its also a really cost effective brand and honestly I don't know what I did before I found it.

I'd recommend this scent for spring.

Have you ever heard of or tried this brand before? Let me know what your favourite is.

Visit their online store : www.bogstandard.ie/ and do tell me what you buy!

Red Carpet Fever - Golden Globes 2015

If you know me well, you know I live for Awards Season and My favourite event is the Golden Globes.
Its the first major event of the Season and It sets the par. Fashion-wise anyway.

I was really impressed with the style this year, so I would like to share some of my favourite looks with you.

I really liked the neutral palette of these 3 dresses.

Chrissy Teigen looks phenomenal in this colour, It really complements her skin-tone and Zuhair Murad really knows how to dress a woman, the silhouette is beautiful.

Where do I start with Kate Beckinsale, I have an unhealthy obsession with her, I love the fluidity of this dress, Its not too out there but not too subdued either.

Louise Roe looks amazing all the time but this Grecian look looks so good on her, the dress creates a nice shape on her and I love her hair like this.

These 3 dresses were one's I'm not sure on but I really like at the same time.

Dakota Johnson, I really like the fit, colour and shape but not keen on the sequins and sparkle, I also really like her hair.
.
Taylor Schilling, The colour suits her, I just think she could have worn something form fitting and it would have been a show stopper.

Reese Witherspoon looks like a Oscar, love the dress but I think it would have looked better on someone else, it sort of washes her out, She needs a brighter colour.

My Favourite Look of the Night is Jenna Dewan Tatum. Her Hair, Her Dress, Her Arm Candy.
I don't known where to begin.
The dress is so flattering on her and the red clutch bag is such a brilliant addition of colour, Her make- up is so natural, It makes the whole outfit look so effortless.

Let me know what was your favourite and what you hated!

Happy Little Christmas

Its my First day in my new house and what better day than Little Christmas. For anyone who doesn't know what Little Christmas or Women's Christmas, as it's sometimes known as, Its a Irish holiday where the women take the day off, don't do anything around the house and go out to Lunch and go Shopping or to a Spa or something along those lines.

It takes place on the 6th of January every year and I was fortunate enough to have the day off anyway, so I took full advantage.

(I'm obsessed with this Coat from SheInside, I wear it nearly everyday)

Coat: SheInside
Top: Zara
Necklace: Penny's
Jeans: Topshop
Shoes: New Look

I started off the day going shopping unable to buy anything cause I have to save my money for this house. (Being an Adult sucks), But I did go to the Hairdressers for a well needed change in Hairstyle, My hair was getting to heavy and long and I really didn't like it anymore.

Mani Monday

Happy Monday Everyone, I hope your having a good day, Im currently writing this on Sunday evening as Im moving house tomorrow, Well today since you will be reading this on Monday or after.

Since its still sorta Christmasy I decided to go with a glittery theme, These are acrylic nails as my own are in pieces from work.

I really like these nails, there so pretty and they go with everything and look great on a night out. I bought these in a pharmacy in town, at a really good price at €6.50. I find these nails so handy, and time effective. I hate waiting for my nails to dry so these are perfect.

They aren't like any other false nails I've used before, they're very secure and feel real, Which is great for everyday things such as washing your hair to getting dressed. Ive always found with other false nails catch on everything but these seem very good.

I've always been against false nails but starting to change my mind, What are your thoughts on false nails Yay or Nay?

Style Crush Sunday | Kylie Jenner

This weeks Style Crush Sunday is the beautiful Ms Kylie Jenner.

2014 was a great year, style wise for Kylie. She hit it on the Red Carpet and off it.

Ms Jenner started the year off with a bang in January and February. I love how she puts together the simplest of outfits and tops it off with an Over-sized Coat and Statement Shoes.

Or keeps it casual and still gives off the air off Chic that makes her so appealing to me. Total Style Inspiration.
She continued to make hit after hit and I haven't been disappointed with anything she worn. She's definitely affected the way I styled outfits this year.

And its not just her clothes its her ever changing hair and flawless makeup, but no matter what she does I love it.

My favourite look of the year was this white dress when her and Kendall presented the Billboard Awards, I think it looks phenomenal on her.

Here's to 2015 and another year of great style from Kylie and the rest of the Jenners/Kardashians.

Calling all Benebabes!

A little bit before Christmas there was a Benefit Pop Up Shop in town, which of course I couldn't resist.
I had heard great things for a while now about the 'They're Real' Mascara so I jumped at the chance to buy it and everything that was said about it is true, It goes on a treat and looks even better on! (I even bought another for my Sister.)
They were selling it with a travel sized version of the Eyeliner free.

After using the mini version I went back the next day and picked up the 'They're Real' Eyeliner in the full size,
I'm the first to admit that I have a love hate relationship with liquid liner, so when I heard it was a gel liner I was intrigued as I've never used one before. I really enjoyed using it, It just glided on its almost automatically just hold it up to your eye and it does the work for you.

While I was there, I needed a good coverage concealer so the girl that was helping me out recommended 'Erase Paste' which I really enjoyed using, I didn't need to use a lot of product and was the perfect shade for my skin-tone which is so hard because I'm so pale.
So Thank You Benefit!

Let me know your favourite Benefit Products, Any Recommendations are welcome!
